Our personnel is our most important resource when it comes to serving passengers with reduced mobility. For this reason we focus on their training and constant updating. The main areas of learning relate to the reference normative framework, knowledge of the various types of disability, basic physiology for lifting people, customer care, using means and instruments, and procedures peculiar to the airport realm.
Some of our operators are able to communicate using sign language. We also collaborate with some Associations for periodic in-depth input on specific disabilities.
We have also opted to completely review our uniforms, in line with a project to improve the image of the ADR Group.
In 2013 we obtained OHSAS 18001:2007 certification, which we renewed in 2015, related to applying the standards set for managing occupational health and safety.
